For this special limited edition, Specialized wanted to bring attention to the trail builders around the world who are often forgotten behind the athletes, yet do such important work without which the sport would not even be possible. That's why Specialized launched the Soil Searching Global Trail Ambassador program some time ago, supporting trail builders financially and with activities like " Dig Days" . The Eliminator tyre is characterised by special puncture resistance, as it has been equipped with additional bead-to-bead protection. This makes the Grid Trail carcass exceptionally durable and stable. With its pronounced, yet not too aggressive lug design, it allows for fine-tuned handling in challenging terrain and is also perfect for use on trail E-bikes.Its compound offers an optimal balance of grip and pedaling efficiency, dampening high frequency vibrations but allowing low rolling frequencies to pass through so no energy is lost.
